We are looking for a Head of HR Business Partners & HR Operationsbased in Brussels - Belgium.

Provide input to and lead implementation of HR plans and policies for a defined organization by aligning HR activities to business needs and providing day-to-day HR support to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain employees to achieve business objectives in line with business needs, HR strategy, industry best practices and current legislation.

This role consists of three main components :

1 - Senior HR Business Partner

• Act as the trusted HR advisor for part of the organisation (n = 120)

• Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across the DHL group

• Coaching & advising line management

• Provide input to and lead local implementation of HR plans and policies to build a culture that encourages high performance and retention of talent.

• Support business growth or transformation/ change agenda to ensure a sustainable & healthy organizational capability

• Ensure compliance of HR policies with statutory local & group regulations.

• Stay current with internal and external best HR practices and trends

• Anticipate, identify and resolve risks or issues to ensure a successful outcome

• Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers

2 - Team Lead

• Manage and supervise the local HR team of Business Partners and Experts

• Foster engagement and internal team dynamics

• Stimulate a culture of open communication and feedback

• Ensure a fair dispatch of additional HR tasks and projects

3 – Overarching responsibilities

• Handling labour relations (local Workers Council)

• Provide input to HR plans and policies in close collaboration with the local HR team and the business

• Contribute to build a culture that encourages high performance, engagement and talent retention

• Lead and deliver key HR activities either through own team or centres of expertise (i.e. shared service centre for payroll)

• Ensure continuous improvement and digitalisation. Modify/adapt/digitalise HR processes to better suit the needs of the organization

• Manage vendor / service relationship and service level agreements

• Communicate and influence senior business leaders outside of own job area to accept practices and approaches

• Steer ad hoc special HR related projects

• Overseeing internal communication

• Coordinate local compensation and benefits processes
