I am currently looking for a freelance HSE Manager to join my client based just north of Mons. The client is a large food & beverage company with plants across the globe.

36 hours per week - 12-Month contract - Food and Beverage

The role will be full-time on-site basis near Mons.

The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience in the production industries.

HSE Manager

HSE Background in production industries

  • Prevention Advisor Level 2 certificate (minimum) or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of local and international HSE regulations (e.g., ISO 14001, 45001, 9001, etc.).
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Committed and motivated person with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Innovative and result-oriented.
  • French and English language skills for the project communication

    • Responsibilities

  • Checking VPO routines,
  • improving safety culture
  • site visits
  • checking safety on workstations
  • checking environmental legislation
  • work permits
  • risk assessments

    • The client has advised they have an immediate requirement for a Manager to join their teams, they have the opportunity to interview and offer the successful candidate next week.

    This would be a site-based role.

    The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in Belgium already or willing to relocate to the area.
