Who are we?

Based in the heart of the historic city centre and situated on the banks of the Leie River in the medieval harbour of the city, the Ghent Marriott boasts 150 bedrooms, 9 meeting and events spaces, a destination restaurant and a terrace overlooking the canal.

The hotel is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, is a division of the global Aimbridge Hospitality brand. We manage over 1,600 hotels and resorts worldwide that include big brands such as Hilton, Accor, Marriott, and IHG as well as small independent hotels and everything in between, including a portfolio of prestigious hotels in Ghent.

To expand our business, we are now looking for aHotel Receptionist.

A Day in the Life of…

As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be our guests’ first and last point of contact, ensuring a smooth check-in/out process for all. You answer all questions of our guests and ensure they enjoy a Wonderful Stay in Gent. Ensure management is fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments. You maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities. You connect with other departments in the hotel to ensure our service is Best In Class throughout their stay. You comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

Based in the Marriott Ghent, you will be part of a family of passionate people who know that being the best does not always mean working around the clock.
