HR Business Partner

For our HR team in Belgium we are looking for a passionate and result-oriented HR Business Partner with excellent relationship building skills.

Job Description

Reporting to the Business HR Manager Commercial Benelux, you will work closely together with 2 other HR Business Partners and an HR Admin/Payroll team in Belgium and will act as coach and HR subject matter expert for our commercial managers in the Brussels area.

As HR Business Partner, you will be accountable for implementing the global and regional HR strategic direction and guidance in all aspects of people management to ensure that business strategy is aligned and embedded in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise (international) managers regarding the implementation and execution of HR policies (short- and long-term) and (complex) HR matters in Belgium.

• Support managers in the Abbott full employee lifecycle including organizational and employee development, workforce planning and talent management.

• Partner with other HR Business Partners to develop policies, programs and tools to contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR processes and related services in Belgium.

• Follow trends and best practices within (and outside) Belgium and look for opportunities for further optimalization of HR processes and services.

• Analyze internal and external metrics to assess organizational effectiveness and recommend changes to positively impact the business.

• Manage and execute HR projects in line with predetermined goals and timeline.

• Work closely togethers with internal experts such as Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development to best advise managers on HR related needs.

What experience do you bring?

• HR Bachelor degree or in a related field.

• 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner.

• Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with managers and co-workers at all levels.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Strong change management skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• French/Dutch/English.
