A day in the life of an HR & Payroll Professional

As an HR & Payroll Professional, you will join our Brussels Branch, reporting to the HR Operations Manager and closely collaborating with HRBPs & the Rewards & People Analytics CoE team. You will be responsible for supporting the daily HR operations related to payroll, benefits, employee relations, and relevant systems, processes, and policies.

Your main duties will be:

• Support the monthly payroll process by ensuring accurate and timely management of the payroll including new hires, departures, employee benefits, work permits, expatriate packages and other
• Support the day-to-day operations regarding employee questions & queries related to payroll, labour law, benefits, and other relevant topics
• Maintain SAP HCM system with the people related data and organizational structures
• Coordinate with the internal stakeholders to ensure accurate data in SAP HCM
• Prepare monthly standard and ad-hoc reports for HR and other internal stakeholders
• Support all internal and external audits related to payroll
• Keep up to date on current related market trends

JOB REQUIREMENTS

If you have

• Bachelor in HR, Economic Studies or another related field
• At least 4 years of work experience in a position with similar responsibilities
• Very good knowledge of Belgium employment/labour legislation
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, mostly MS Excel
• Hands-on experience with HRIS, preferably SAP HCM
• Fluency in French (oral and written)
• Very good command of English – knowledge of the Dutch language will be a plus
• Great communication skills
• The ability to work as a true team player but also to work independently
• The ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time efficiently
