We are looking for a Senior Information Architect & Content expert to work in Brussels

A day in the life of a Information Architect & Content expert (RD)

Service of an Information architecture and content expert for the development of a catalogue for internal users aiming to provide better insight into the available datasets and how they can contribute to policy activities.

You will:

• Map available DG R&I data assets related to the Framework Programmes
• Analyse business and users needs in relation to policies DG R&I contributes to
• Analyse business needs in terms of datasets linking for additional policy insight
• Identify how the data assets can respond to users needs
• Develop a suitable interface to expose technical, process and business metadata with flexible searching and filtering options as well as data lineage representation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

If you have:

• Knowledge of user-oriented architecture, usability and user-centered design
• UX design and accessibility principles
• Knowledge of business process analysis
• understand and incorporate stakeholder needs and requirements
• good knowledge of data architecture and data governance
• metadata skills including knowledge of the EC metadata standards and ability to produce unambiguous, useful metadata

• Familiar with UX, accessibility and data protection principles
• Research, writing, reporting and presentation skills
• Ability to cope with fast-changing developments in relation to site architecture and design
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
