Our client, a leading company in the chemical sector based in Nivelles, is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Logistics Department Manager.

As a Logistics Department Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and coordinating all logistics operations related to national and international inbound and outbound transport
  • Developing a strategic vision for the transport organization of finished products.
  • Managing internal material flows with safety as the top priority.
  • Optimizing transport processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Managing relationships with transport providers and suppliers.
  • Leading and training a team of logistics professionals.
  • Ensuring compliance with transport and safety regulations.
  • Using and developing transport management systems (TMS) to enhance visibility and operational follow-up.

About you :

  • Degree in logistics, transport, or a related field (e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain).
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of mono-, bi-, and trimodal transport operations and international regulations.
  • Proficiency in logistics management tools and TMS software.
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Strong people management and team development skills
