Material Logistics Specialist

For a leading pharmaceutical client in Beerse, we are looking for a Material Logistics Specialist. We are looking for a flexible team player that is familiar with logistic processes, preferably within a pharmaceutical environment.

The best candidate will have a hands-on mentality and is proactive in identifying opportunities for improvements and optimizations. This person will lead the coordination of ordering, purchasing, and delivering buy once materials that are needed for the CAR-T EMEA program.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ordering of buy once materials for the CAR-T program
  • Placing eMarketplace orders as needed
  • Lead the coordination of the receipt and delivery of the materials to the requestor
  • Track status of materials and alert key stakeholders of issues; propose alternatives if needed
  • Support with the logistic of shipping materials between sites

Your Profile:

  • Languages: Dutch & English
  • Bachelors, preferably in supply chain or related field or equivalent by experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics
  • Supply chain processes
  • Procurement processes
  • Experience with computer systems; eMarketplace

Practicalities:

  • Location: Beerse, Belgium
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Full time Hybrid: 2/3 days a week on site
  • 6 months contract – possibility of extension
