.NET Software Engineer (m/f/d)

As Software Engineer (m/f/d) at I.R.I.S. P&T, you will join a dynamic small team, and be responsible for the development of Intelligent Document Recognition software. You will play an active role in the build-up of international solutions for IRISXtract™ for Documents and IRISPulse platforms.

Position responsibilities:

  • Analysis, design and development of AI-driven software solutions for cloud / on-premise environments
  • Writing of functional and technical specifications
  • Programming based on object-oriented design
  • Close teamwork with colleagues in the R&D department
  • Place of work: either Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) or Aachen (Germany)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • You are a passionate Software Engineer, and have interest working on image processing projects
  • Keen to learn new things and improve your skills
  • Bachelor’s in IT, Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Programming knowledge (.NET C# - a must; Python, Java - a plus)
  • Some DevOps knowledge is expected (Jenkins, Git, docker, graylog)
  • Another plus would be some experience on web UI development (Vue.js, Angular or React)
  • Apply analytical thinking to complex projects
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Enthusiast and Team-Spirit
  • Good command of English, spoken and written ; plus French if based in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) or German if based in Aachen (Germany)
