Payroll Officer (Consultant)

Description

For our client, a global player in the field of Supply Chain Solutions for sectors such as aerospace, FMCG we are looking for a dynamic Payroll Officer.
The head office for Belgium is located in Asse.

You will be taken under the wings of our Teamleader Payroll & Shared Service Center and
Together with the HR BP, you will be co-responsible for the entire payroll administration and can participate in the future implementation of HR projects and optimisations.

You will process the wages of blue and white-collar workers for various Belgian sites
PC’s 140.03 (blue-collar workers) and 226 (white-collar workers) in collaboration with the social secretariat (Partena)
You will participate in the postpayroll process or procedures (ordering meal vouchers, payments, wage garnishments, various reports after the payroll closing)
You are responsible for entering and maintaining data in our payroll software (inflow, outflow, throughflow)
You are responsible for applications for and monitoring of subsidies provided by the sector fund You are responsible for managing the social risk declarations (ASR) (unemployment and benefits)
You take care of the administration regarding insurances (hospitalisation and group insurance)
You deal with questions from employees and management (concerning wages, leave counters, extra-legal benefits such as insurance, salary simulations, etc.)

Your profile

In this role we are looking for someone with an analytical mind who can handle confidential data.
Your knowledge of Dutch is excellent and you have a good knowledge of French/English.
The Office package has no secrets for you.
Experience with payroll systems (Level5) and ProTime is a plus.
This role is open to freelancers and consultants.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience but school leavers can also be considered.
You think proactively about how we can optimise and automate the payroll process.
You work on HR projects as and when they arise.
You are enthusiastic and have an eye for accurate work, but above all you work with passion.
Of course you are a nice colleague ;-).

Offer

You will work closely with the Teamleader Payroll, another colleague on payroll, the HRBP and the senior recruiter.
It is a 6-month assignment with an extension to 1 year.
You will be working in a highly innovative environment.
This role is also open for 3/5th or 4/5th fillings.
Home working is possible after a period of induction for 3 days a week on a full time basis.
