Job Description

We are looking for a Power BI Analystto work for one of our clients, an EU Institution based in Brussels.

Your Main Duties Will Be The Following

  • Building new BI dashboards and provide evaluative/corrective maintenance to the existing ones, based on the changes requests received through the Change Advisory Board and the schedule.
  • Analizing data sources, identifying relevant data, and creating data models for reporting.
  • Designing and creating visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports by using Power BI’s tools.
  • Creating customized reports tailored to the stakeholders needs.

Qualifications

If you have:

  • Master’s degree + 10 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 14 years of experience.
  • Practical knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g. Power BI, Kibana, QuickSight, DAX Query, SQL, Python, M Query Language, Power Query)
  • Practical knowledge of Power BI report performance optimization techniques (e.g. query folding, optimizing visuals, minimizing data models).
  • Familiarity with Power BI Administration, such as gateways, user/report access, and workspaces.
  • Good knowledge of different sources integration into Power BI (including relational DBs, JSON format, website analytics).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into visualization for better decision-making.
  • Good communication skills, very good command of English.
