Project Manager Integrated Modifications

• Management of medium to major size projects 1 to 10M€
• Project management of major projects involving different W entities and external companies, often with FOAK (First of A Kind) elements.
• Project profile is mostly oriented towards mechanical maintenance and component replacement in radiologically controlled areas of operating commercial nuclear power plants, but can also include the construction of new, additional safety systems outside the controlled area
• Act as the prime customer interface for the project. Communicate and exchange with the Westinghouse organization to properly delegate and organize the contracted scope of work and drive the project execution. Track financial, schedule and quality performance of the project and report project performance to management in a monthly basis.
• Jointly with the contract management team, exchange with customer organization to resolve disagreements as they may occur during project execution.
• Lead commercial offerings as a proposal PM and prepare a winning proposal package that will bring projected financial performance to Westinghouse, jointly with the Commercial Integration team.
• Enrollment in Westinghouse Project management and Controls Development Program
• Qualify as Westinghouse PM per PMDP process and requirements
• Willingness to work in radiologically controlled area – qualify as radiation worker under EDF and possibly other utility programs
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and locations use for process qualifications (mainly France and Belgium) on a regular basis. Globally speaking, travel should, however, not exceed more than 25% of the employee’s time.

• The ideal candidate shall already have 5 to 10 years of project management experience and given the nature of the major projects business
• MS or BS in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering
• Good general knowledge of the most common welding, machining and NDE techniques used for fabrication or pressure retaining piping or components and the associated construction standards like ASME Section III, VIII, CODAP or RCC-M.
• Proficiency in commonly used software packages (MS Office, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project). Knowledge of Primavera project planning is an asset
• Proficiency in French and English languages in reading and writing. Willingness to engage in written communication and correspondence, internally and towards customer organizations – Editorial skills – this will be tested during job interviews
