Hanover is looking for a resourceful and motivated Intern with the ability and willingness to learn quickly and work independently, to join our Brussels team. We offer a six-month internship with a possibility to extend, great learning opportunities within a collaborative, dynamic and international team.

The successful candidate will be supporting the team in implementing communications campaigns and media strategy on global strategic communications accounts.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Monitor media developments relating to our clients
  • Undertake targeted research and analysis
  • Identify high quality media contacts within key EU and European media targets
  • Supporting with communications, social media campaigns and event organisation

Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience within strategic communications, with a demonstrable interest in media relations, digital communications, policy communications, and/or foreign policy advocacy
  • An understanding of the Belgian PR landscape would be a bonus
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Quick-learner enjoying a fast-paced working environment
  • Good digital skills (e.g. Microsoft office and/or Adobe InDesign)
  • Excellent oral and written English is essential. Knowledge in other European languages, especially French or German is an asset

The internship is for 6-months with potential to extend. The working mode is hybrid (3 days office work/2 days from home) when regulations allow. The team is looking for the successful applicant to start ASAP.
