JOB DESCRIPTION

The ROV Pilot / Technician; maintains, repairs and operates the ROV’s , pilots the ROV’s and executes the relevant tasks according to best practices implemented into our companies rules and regulations. These R&R are based on local legislations, industry guidelines and continuous improvement from internal and external international platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assembles, tests and commissions ROV systems and associated equipment.
  • Carries out required maintenance and repairs on the ROV’s and associated equipment as required.
  • Ensures pre- and post job logs and analysis, fault finding and interfacing of new equipment or sensors.
  • Ensures operations and data recording are carried out correctly.
  • Liaises with the technical departments on special equipment, research and development.
  • Liaises with SHE-Q and onshore teams to ensure that spare parts are in stock as required.
  • Works according the company, the client and the industry guidelines/ standards, adhering to health and safety requirements at all times.
  • Ensures personal safety and that of the colleagues at all times.

Specific tasks will vary depending on the technical area of specialty (mechanical, electrical or electronics)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor (Technical) electrical background
  • 2 year+ experience working with ROV / offshore enviroment.
  • Well organized and the ability to follow working schedule and priorities.
  • Working effectively in an environment driven by deadlines
  • Effective communication skills while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Strong self-Initiative on personal and project related matters
  • Proficient in Dutch and English language
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Worklocation: Yard in Beerse (Belguim) and Projects all over Europe. Willingness to travel and work in rotation (4 weeks) abroad.
