Work environment

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced professional lawyer to join our HR Team. You will be in charge of monitoring, applying and implementing social and labour law within the Tractebel’s HR strategy, preparing and ensuring the effective functioning of the various consultation bodies. You will be the reference in terms of social and labour law within the HR team and beyond.

This role will report to the Head of Human Resources, Communications & HSE Belgium.


Mission

Within the framework of our Employee Value Proposition and in collaboration with the Head of Human resources and all the actors of the HR department, you will implement and develop HR policies to meet the Company’s expectations and be the specialist of our social dialog.

More specifically, your role within our organisation will include the following tasks:

  • Monitor the labour and social actuality to implement it within the Company;
  • Develop, define and update policies in line with the applicable laws and regulations;
  • Take an active role in the preparation, conduct and follow-up of the different consultation bodies;
  • Give proactive advice and specialist services to the HR organisation and internal customers up to the Belgian management team;
  • Be involved in the Company negotiations on all kinds of social and labour law topics;
  • Give support to the HR Business Partners on all labour and social law matters;
  • Contribute to collective labour relations and help to improve the quality of social dialogue;
  • Be responsible of the HR administration;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of changes within the Company;
  • Work closely with all the HR actors to be aligned with Tractebel’s HR strategy.

Profile

  • You have a master degree in law with 10 years experience in large organisations;
  • You have extensive and relevant experience in labour and social law;
  • You have experience in social relations;
  • You have a good analytical skills;
  • You are able to communicate clearly on technical aspects of labour and social law;
  • You have a sense of responsibility and can work with integrity and confidentiality, inspiring trust in those you deal with;
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch and French. Knowledge of English is an asset;
  • You have a service-oriented attitude and enjoy networking;
  • You are assertive;
  • You are naturally approachable, flexible and proactive with a very good team spirit;
  • You have good IT skills.
