System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Assessment Security Test Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Mons, Belgium. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and functionality of our test environments, and your expertise will drive our success in safeguarding critical systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Test environment validation: Conduct pre-checks on test reference environments to ensure the availability and full functionality of the tested products. Validate configurations and setups against predefined standards.
• Issue identification: Identify and address any issues or discrepancies that may hinder testing activities.
• Liaison role: Act as a bridge between security testing teams and other relevant stakeholders. Communicate readiness status and potential issues in a timely manner.
• Technical support: Provide technical assistance, including the installation of systems and applications in ESXi/Vmware environments. Assist in configuring and maintaining test reference environments as required.
• Security checks: Perform basic security validations to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure all necessary tools, software, and configurations are in place for effective security testing.
• Additional duties: Undertake any other tasks as requested to support the success of the security testing efforts.

Essential qualifications:

• Education: A university degree in a technical field with substantial IT content, or, in exceptional cases, at least 8 years of extensive and progressive experience in relevant duties.
• Experience: Proven experience as a System Administrator with a strong understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices.
• Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely.

Desirable skills:

In-depth knowledge of Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
