JOB DESCRIPTION

As a contributor within the Packaging & Technology business unit, part of our Clinical Supply Chain organization, you will play a key role in our manufacturing processes and support digital transformation in our manufacturing plant.

In this role, you will work closely within the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MST) team to maintain core system data and create, validate and deploy new process configurations for our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Additionally, your expertise will be crucial in supporting the broader team in various automation and manufacturing data projects, thereby optimizing our manufacturing platform to deliver world-class products. You will hence collaborate with various teams, such as P&T MST, P&T Operations, Digital Solutions, and JJT, to successfully support the implementation of a long-term strategic advanced technology plan. By developing new automation capabilities, you will enable us to continue delivering our innovative portfolio of products and stay ahead of the competition. Lastly, you will support the Packaging & Technology department and work with our IT group in the assessment, evaluation, selection and implementation of a novel next-gen MES system.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the creation of new process configurations in our MES system for diverse device assembly, packaging & labelling activities, and maintain existing ones, based on department operational needs
• Validate new process configurations, coordinate the deployment into the production environment, working with IT (Application support)
• Support the broader MST team in various automation and manufacturing data projects on existing and new equipment established in P&T, through identification and deployment of digitalization and system integration concepts to improve the digital maturity of the P&T business unit, moving from manual, paper-based and/or isolated processes to higher levels of automation

Competences:

• Experience level needed: no requirement, i.e. open to starters, as well as senior staff
• Background in IT (Informatics) is a must and an interest and/or experience in automation is preferrable
• Competences: collaboration and communication skills, project management skills, expertise on IT system (integration) and digitalization concepts

Language:

Fluent in English & Dutch, written and spoken
