System Engineer (Palo Alto / Cisco Networks)– Contract/Freelance – €595 Per Day – Brussels

Based in Brussels, our client is a global leader in consulting and digital transformation, specialising in hi-tech transactional services, unified communications, cloud, big data and cybersecurity services.

They require a System Engineer (Palo Alto / Cisco Networks)to join them on a day rate rolling contract basis. This will be an initial 3 month rolling contract.

What will aSystem Engineerdo?

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll Manage Palo Alto and CISCO customer equipment.

What does the Ideal Candidate look like?

  • Palo Alto.
  • Cisco.
  • 5 years of experience as a successful, systems integrator, or equivalent experience.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Palo Alto and CISCO Networks products, with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall and some comparative technologies; Continuous technical development.
  • Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of Palo Alto and Cisco routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems.
  • Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing).
  • Prior experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances, including but not limited to: Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies and Caches.
  • Significant industry certifications (CCNA, SANS, CISSP, CCIE, etc).

Languages needed:

  • FR/ENG or FR/NL or ENG/NL.
