Description

Tailormade Logistics (TML) is an international organisation, specialised in logistics and transport. We characterise ourselves by offering a tailor-made service. Besides our headquarters, located in the Ghent Seaport, we have a network of branches both at home and abroad.

For our site in Ghent (Skaldenstraat), we are looking for a Teamleader 2-shifts.

As a Team Leader, you are responsible for coordinating the logistics activities on the work floor. You manage a team of logisticians (+- 15 to 20 warehouse workers). Tasks

  • You coordinate the various activities and maintain an overview at all times.
  • You ensure that the daily processes run efficiently, smoothly and safely.
  • After some time you are able to contribute to proposals for improvement.
  • You ensure good communication and cooperation with the other teams.
  • You report to the site manager.

Competences

  • You have (a first experience) as a manager preferably in a logistical or production environment.
  • You are willing to work in 2 shifts (6am-14pm / 2pm-22pm).
  • You are a team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • A forklift certificate is a plus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • A hands-on mentality is your second nature.
