Technology Expert - Java

Responsibilities:

The candidate will contribute to the activities listed below (non-exhaustive list):

  • Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in a specific area of ICT infrastructure technology ( Java Enterprise technology, interoperability, REST and SOAP web services, databases (e.g. Oracle)
  • Designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
  • Developing and deploying Restful web services
  • Building and deploying web applications in Weblogic server
  • Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Assistance in the implementation of an exchange platform and solution based on existing international and COM standards and tools
  • Assistance in the implementation of high standard quality solution in software development
  • Assistance in the implementation of a software engineering methodology

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of IT professional experience
  • Deep knowledge in design of enterprise architectures, Java EE, Java 8, REST and SOAP web services, Java and JavaScript Frameworks Based (Primefaces, Angular etc.), Transaction Management, JMS, JPA, ORM (hibernate), databases (e.g. Oracle)
  • Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Primefaces, Angular, etc.)
  • Experience in developing JAVA applications using Spring
  • Knowledge of technologies such as XML, XSD, XSLT, SAX, DOM, XQuery, XPath, HTML, JSON, CSS, XML parsers, HTML 5 and Web 2.0
  • Development tools: IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans, Jira, Maven, Nexus, Git, ant, Selenium, Junit, Bamboo, Continuous Delivery.
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, very good communication skills
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
  • Good knowledge of security matters related to ICT infrastructures
  • Good knowledge of software testing
  • Excellent written and oral command of English, with French and other EU languages an asset
