Thanks to this growth our international network of customers, suppliers, partners and distributors is expanding and in order to support these relationships from a legal point of view, we are looking for an experienced legal counsel.

What will be your challenges?

• As the Legal Counsel of the company, you will defend and protect the interests of all the legal entities of the I-care Group (Belgian HQ and +10 countries).
• You identify potential risks associated with the company’s projects and provide assistance and advice on legal issues.
• You will be consulted on a daily basis by our various Belgian departments and foreign subsidiaries.
• Providing advice in a wide range of legal areas (commercial, tax, employment, international, , etc.).
• Examining and/or drafting contracts, agreements, special legal clauses, draft transactions, etc.
• Providing assistance in the context of contentious matters.
• Ensuring the company’s external relations with professional bodies, experts, lawyers, tax specialists, etc.
• you report to the CEO and CFO.

Who are you?

• On top of your master degree in Law you have at least 8 years experience in a similar job in the industry in Belgium.
• Your English is impeccable, being able to express yourself in French and Dutch is a plus.
• You are an excellent communicator, both in writing and orally (ability to analyse, summarise, structure, explain, etc.).
• You have good interpersonal skills and are natural with your internal and external clients.
• You know how to make a clear and relevant analysis of complex problems and/or situations.
• You formulate reliable and well-founded hypotheses, opinions and/or points of view with confidence and consider their consequences.
• You function flexibly and appropriately in a changing, international and multicultural environment.
• You work with order and precision.
• You remain effective in difficult, critical or stressful situations.
