Data Scientist – NLP-NLU

About this role
We are looking for a Data Scientist / NLP specialist with proven experience in NLP projects in order to improve and facilitate our data science activities. The candidate should have good skills for hands-on work with NLP concepts, but also be able to understand user requirements and develop or enhance existing processes. This role requires the candidate to identify and communicate the technical infrastructure requirements to deploy solutions.

Our ideal candidate is (able to)

  • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects and deliver value in an Agile environment.
  • Development, testing, deployment and roll-out to production using best practices.
  • Analyze, understand and document the business processes in detail where required.
  • Hands on developing preferably in Python (Pytorch, Numpy, Sklearn, pandas, Flask etc.).
  • Be familiar basic NLP concepts like td-idf, sentiment analysis, sentence / words embeddings, topic modeling, tokenization, transformers, document-term matrix, bag-of-words.
  • A problem solver with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
