The Digital Health Operations Manager (Digital Health Center of Excellence) is primarily responsible for leading Digital Health and Operational aspects of various technologies. The incumbent will be required to demonstrate technical expertise in system development, user acceptance testing and provide subject matter expertise to cross functional study teams. The incumbent will lead all Digital Health-related activities and will be the point of contact for the cross-functional study team. The incumbent is expected to maintain an awareness of industry benchmarks and evaluate innovative new technologies to ensure Digital Health Center of Excellence processes are at the ‘best practice’ level of performance. Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for Digital Health, providing advice/recommendation to study teams regarding the supplier(s) and device/technology alternatives. Complete Requests for Proposal documentation and recommend appropriate suppliers to support study needs. Provide leadership and expertise for the completion of supplier specification development and set-up activities through lifecycle of the trial. Lead the cross functional study team through changes of scope for Digital Health, providing technical expertise on the change of scope, assessment of risk, oversight of system requirements updates and user acceptance testing. Lead the resolution of issues escalated by study teams for processes owned, as well as cross-team specific issues under the supervision of the Head, Digital Health Operations. Serve as the point of contact specific to inspection readiness activities between the study team and the Digital Health supplier(s). Effectively manage internal and external business partner relationships in support of R&D Operations’ deliverables. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for services provided by suppliers. Conduct Lessons Learned sessions following the completion of study start-up activities, and as necessary, throughout other phases of the clinical development process. Effectively support the study team in close-out/deactivation of the Digital Health system and archive activities Provide leadership for supplier assessment/qualification teams. Continually assess new emerging technologies to optimize operational efficiencies. Represent Digital Health CoE as a Digital Health subject matter expert at internal cross-company meetings and at external professional meetings. Ensure that principles of Credo and Business Conduct Policy, Purchasing Code of Conduct, Healthcare. Compliance and Ethical Code of Conduct of Pharmaceutical Medicine are used in supplier relationships. Exhibit excellent communication skills (written and oral). Principal Relationships: The primary working relationships for this position would be Internal – GD, TA, JRP (Procurement), Legal, GCSO (Market Access), Regulatory, BRQC, IT, QCSV, Privacy, Security External – Vendors, Copyright Holders Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree (University degree) A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience. A minimum of 6 years operational experience in clinical trials with a pharmaceutical company and/or a Clinical Research Organization. Demonstrated knowledge of clinical development processes, global clinical operations, and strategic planning. Familiarity with industry best practices for vendor management. Good understanding of the therapeutic areas where Janssen is involved. Strong project management skills and presentation skills with the ability to lead a team independently. Ability to travel up to 10% of time (Domestic/International). Preferred: Experience with Digital Health Technology suppliers. Microsoft Project skills.
