Become the driving force behind the success of Mammoet Belgium!As Director Belgium you are responsible for leading the operational and strategic activities of Mammoet Belgium. You work closely with the Sales, Operations, Finance, HR & SHE-Q departments to achieve Mammoet Belgium’s growth target.   • Managing and coordinating the management team and the various departments to achieve the set goals.
  • Responsible for formulating, implementing, and monitoring the strategy.
  • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the sales and marketing strategy.
  • Aiming at, or exceeding, the expected commercial objectives in collaboration with Sales.
  • Promoting safety, health, welfare, and quality in collaboration with SHE-Q.
  • You manage and guide the employees through clear communication.
  • Leading the relationship management strategy and maintaining effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • You ensure good cooperation between different layers of the organization together with operations.
  • Implement and monitor the financial strategy and policy in accordance with regional guidelines and local regulations together with Finance.
  • Ensuring optimal staffing together with HR.
  • Stimulating and facilitating innovation and change within the organization.
What You’ll Need
  • Minimum Bachelor working and thinking level combined with a technical background.
  • +5 years of broad relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Dutch is preferably your mother tongue combined with excellent knowledge of the English language in word and writing.
  • You are willing to travel between the Port of Ghent and Port of Antwerp.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
  • Able to keep an overview and step in when necessary.
  • Experience with working in a company with large scale projects in a technical environment.
