Does a unique career in automotive engineering sound appealing?Do you have a passion for excellence?Job DescriptionThe Electronics Engineering (EE) team plays a critical role in the development of Automotive E/E Systems. Utilizing top-notch development methods, we develop transmission control units; eDrives and other auxiliary electric/electronic systems for powertrains. You will work in activities such as:
  • Derive HW Requirements from System requirements
  • Define architecture of the system/subsystems/components. Select key components.
  • Follow-up and validate that all components within the architecture are delivered in compliance with the defined interfaces and according the requirements.
  • Hardware detailed design: do design calculations, analysis and simulations
  • Define Hardware Software Interface.
  • Follow-up, evaluation and redirection of the quality of the delivered (sub)results.
  • Technical coaching of the employees that are involved in the development of the subcomponents in the architecture
  • Follow-up suppliers (Built to spec and/or EMS)
Profile
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
  • You have in depth knowledge and experience in the field of electronics development from concept phase to series production.
  • Experience with electronics circuit debugging, finding issues, performing root cause analysis.
  • Hands on: Using test & measurement equipment for circuit measurements, soldering, operate electronics test systems.
  • Experience in automotive industry is a plus.
  • Experience with electronics verification, environmental testing (ISO 16750), burn-in tests, reliability tests is a plus.
  • Experience with ISO26262 chapter 5 (Hardware detailed design; HSI;FTA; lifetime;… )
  • General knowledge and experience in other disciplines i.e. embedded software, mechanics, hydraulics and system control is an asset.
  • Thanks to your strong communication skills and good knowledge of English, you excel at teamwork and are strong in reporting knowledge and results.
  • You are an independent, perseverant and systematic worker with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset.
