Known for their cutting-edge technology and services in Geothermal, Gas, and Oil well drilling, they are now looking for a talented Financial Controller to join their Belgian office. This role offers the perfect blend of strategic oversight and hands-on financial management, all within a supportive and growth-oriented team.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

As a Financial Controller, your main tasks will include:

• Financial Reporting: Balance sheet account review & reconciliation, preparation of financial statements, and submission to management.
• Accounting Operations: Managing client and supplier invoices, P&L variance analysis, subsystem control, and managing treasury functions.
• Compliance and Audit: Preparing annual financial statements, managing the audit process, VAT/Intracom declaration, and ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and tax regulations.
• Administrative Support: Contributing to HR administration (salaries), logistics management, and maintaining strong communication with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

Ideal Profile

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English.
• Qualifications: University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar. Knowledge of IFRS and proficiency in finance systems like Odoo and Excel.
