Make your mark for patients
To strengthen our IT team, based at the HQ, in Brussels, Belgium we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of:IT Lead Sustainability & Analytics
Are you excited about the opportunity to connect technology with the sustainability ambitions of UCB? As the IT Lead for Sustainability and Global Legal, you will report to the Head of IT Legal, Sustainability & Risk and be responsible for the IT aspects of the Sustainability and Global Legal digital portfolio. You will collaborate with internal IT teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to develop a digital roadmap, deliver on identified initiatives, and ensure smooth operations of implemented (or already existing) solutions.
What you’ll do
- Co-create the digital landscape and ways of working for the Sustainability and part of Global Legal domains, acting as the primary technology advisor and driving digital/IT transformation in line with UCB strategy. Specifically, you will be on the driver seat to define how technology can bring the sustainability agenda of UCB to the next level.
- Partner with key business stakeholders to manage and align a solutions portfolio that delivers business value, including continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee all aspects of solution delivery, including needs identification, planning, project management, product quality monitoring, and benefits assessment.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with UCB processes.
- Be knowledgeable about key trend shaping the digital environment as well as constraints and opportunities impacting your business stakeholders.
- Act as an escalation resource for key business stakeholders when IT-related issues arise.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Master’s degree in technology or business-related domain
- 5 to 10 years of experience in consulting and/or complex corporate environment with relevant project management and/or technology and/or analytics track record.
- Proficiency in project and change management for delivering IT solutions.
- Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, from technical experts to senior business leaders, without direct authority.
- Understanding of IT systems, technologies, and key trends shaping the industry.
- Business acumen to comprehend the business goals, strategies, and processes and how IT contributes, enables or disrupt these objectives.
- Analytical thinking for adressing multi-faceted problems and making data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication for bridging the gap between technical jargon and business needs.
- Develop relationships and trust with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Curious and open-minded to proactively look for personal and professional growth opportunities.
- Full proficiency in English. Any other languages such as Dutch, French, or other are a plus.
