About Our Client

Our client is a worldwide provider of biological andin vitro products to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and contract research organisations.

Job Description

As a Lab Operator you assist the Warehouse manager to manage goods received processes on a day to day basis to ensure that all the products are correctly recorded/stored/send.

Tasks:

  • Help achieve or exceed the sales and profit targets set in the Company Strategy and Budget
  • Ensure that all tasks in the Warehouse are delivered in accordance with Company Policies, Procedures and Quality Levels.
  • Ensure that every customer order is processed effectively and efficiently to achieve 100% of the Company’s Customer Service Target
  • To assist the Warehouse Manager to manage goods received processes on a day to day basis ensuring all products are correctly recorded and stored.
  • To assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure all relevant Import/Export documentation is completed so that shipments comply with legislation and customer demands and are processed as smoothly as possible by Couriers/Border Agencies.
  • To actively support Quality Assurance to identify weaknesses and ensure corrective action is implemented.
  • To assist the Warehouse Manager to work closely with the Business Development, Administration and Sales Teams to provide a seamless service to our customers
  • Take every opportunity to promote the image and interests with customers, suppliers and other contacts
  • Actively promote teamwork with all departments and branches
  • Pro-actively manage the health and safety of yourself and others

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a Lab Operator that :

  • Completed Secondary Education, A-Level Education preferable
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office
  • Working experience gained in Warehouse preferably in Medical or Bio-Science Sectors
  • Ability to work in a front line, high pressure, reactive environment
  • Good level of spoken/written English and mental/practical arithmetic
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate records and files
  • IT proficient
