Samsonite Europe aims to provide a great online experience! Join the digital team and become part of an industry-leading luggage brand.

Samsonite Europe is looking for a new Ecommerce Senior Manager. Your goal will be to strengthen the customer experience and accelerate our E-commerce sales across our brands websites in Europe.

Based in our European HQ located in Belgium, you will be part of a young and dynamic digital team reporting to the Vice-president Digital & Ecommerce.

The position requires someone who is proactive, data driven, and customer focused who can work in a structured way and with excellent attention to detail.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You drive the E-commerce business for Europe and you are responsible for the onsite performances of the brand websites (Samsonite, American Tourister, Gregory and Rolling luggage).
  • You report and track results proactively and regularly to top management.
  • You optimize sales, profit and customer experience by building, sharing and implementing best practices cross brands.
  • You define the CRO roadmap in order to remove most points of friction along the full consumer journey.
  • You ensure that the brand website match the brand positioning and provide a best-in-class customer experience, both for on product and services level.
  • You define the e-commerce roadmap for your brands, in line with the overall digital roadmap of the Samsonite group.
  • You define the CRM and CDP strategy, to optimize brand experience and customer loyalty.
  • You have a good view on Ecommerce Operations: Omnichannel, logistics, payments providers, and customer care.
  • You work closely with the digital marketing team to optimize lead generation.
  • You keep close contacts with brand heads, retail, IT, logistics, country managers and the e-commerce agency and other tech partners.
  • You lead a team of merchandisers and ecommerce specialists, and you report to the Vice-president Digital and e-commerce.

Profiel kandidaat

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master degree or equivalent by experience
  • 5-7 years of experience required in the field of Digital / B2C e-commerce
  • General knowledge of E-commerce / UX/ CRO / Digital / omni-channel
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing cloud and Data Cloud would be a plus
  • Rigorous and skilled in project management
  • Solution oriented approach agile mindset and striving for continuous improvement.
  • Natural connector and effective communicator with ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A team player that loves to work with passionate people.
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
