As aPlant Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the manufacturing/operation plan of the Precursors, End Products or Auxiliaries plant, in line with SHEQ standards and targets.

Your Objectives Will Be

• Provide leadership to ensure safe and effective utilization of plant personnel and assets, and implement strategic improvements throughout the facility.
• Manage personnel and equipment to maximize production rates in a safe and economical manner.
• This includes adherence to the plant’s manufacturing and maintenance budget.
• Manufacturing Owner role in the Manufacturing Excellence foundation practices
• Involved in key leadership steps (Gatekeeping/Gate Reviews) in the practice of improve plant concept. Later in this practice, you will be involved in key checkpoints and responsible for the key decisions and actual handovers:
• Responsible for people development in his or her organization.
• Implement culture of continuous improvement
• Landlord of the Plant area.
• Collaborate with functional departments in daily operational practice as well as in the implementation of improvements.
• Adhere to and actively promote Envalior’s Life Saving Rules & SHE&Q Principles
  
  

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing personnel and installation to ensure adherence to SHEQ Regulations and Corporate SHEQ Requirements so that safe and healthful work environment is maintained.
• Responsible/accountable for the development and execution of the manufacturing plan, daily operation and manufacturing costs of the Precursors / End Products / Auxiliaries plants. This includes Asset utilization, Operate Plant Normal, Resource Management, interaction with Maintenance (budget) and projects.
• Accountable for product quality - to produce within the product specifications
• Accountable for translating the manufacturing plan objectives into Key Operating Parameters, Key Performance Indicators and decide on target values for these KPI’s. He/she is also responsible for the "Review effectiveness and update" step.
• Regarding Maintenance he/she is responsible/accountable for the maintenance plan and the maintenance budget/costs.

Requirements

• Holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
• Brings 5-10 years of professional experience in operations, preferably in a multi-regional business environment
• Shows broad management capabilities as well as manufacturing experience. Ideally the candidate has directly or indirectly led teams in the past
• Has experience in developing teams and strengthening others by prioritizing their development, understanding their strengths and helping them reaching their full potential
• Demonstrates experience in leading changes
• Experience with SHE is a pre; previously held a safety leadership role is preferred
• Experience with dealing with the Unions is a pre
• Is fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English
