Our client is active in the insurance world. A small structure within a large organisation, solid, stable and recognised in Belgium. To expand their team, our client is looking for a bilingual and experienced Program Manager for the launch of a new project.

Description

  • You are responsible for the daily monitoring of projects. You supervise the project managers, both in terms of methodology and in the monitoring of their projects from A to Z (scope, development of business cases, budget, planning, resources, risk analysis, change requests, documentation, etc.)
  • You will lead several large projects
  • You will ensure targeted dissemination of information and, in particular, report to the decision-making bodies on the progress of projects
  • You coordinate the project portfolio (development of new solutions, improvements to services and processes, etc.) and actively participate in the implementation of projects in compliance with the applicable regulatory and safety standards
  • You are the contact person for all projects and the first point of contact, in particular for our IT department
  • You will contribute to the development of an internal project culture through training and raising awareness of appropriate methodologies
  • You continuously monitor trends and developments in project management methodology

Your profile

  • A higher education degree, master’s level and demonstrable experience in project management
  • Experience in the insurance sector is an advantage
  • Affinity with IT and new technologies
  • Bilingual Dutch/French and a good working knowledge of English
  • Strong communicative skills, both verbal and written; able to get his/her message across to various interlocutors
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly aware of the importance of data security and protection
  • A dynamic and enthusiastic personality
  • Result oriented, persistent and stress resistant
  • Attaches importance to quality and good service
  • Easy going and diplomatic
  • Has good judgment and is solution oriented
  • Team player
