DHL Express is seeking an ACS Senior Analyst – ACS EU & Global for its office in Diegem, Belgium. The purpose of the role is to:

• To report and analyse business related activities in ACS, supporting Senior Management in decision making
• To conduct root-cause analysis for service performance issues and identify improvement opportunities
• To support First Choice projects in business areas such as Capacity planning, connectivity improvement, etc.

• Provide reporting and analysis on ACS KPIs, e.g. operations compliance, service performance, capacity utilization, productivity, revenue creation, key customer performance, and yield management
• Control the 3rd party BSA programs (LCAG, BA & Amazon) for billing, provide tailor made analysis, coordinate the allocations/BSA agreements with Network Control/Network Planning, deliver data analysis and measurement to support GNM/ACS Network optimization
• Provide regular and ad hoc analysis to support functional and Senior management in decision making
• Act as a first point of escalation, focal point and expert in domains for regional and functional support to assist in the investigation of data quality issues, train the users to better understand and become more self-sufficient in analysing their own data
• Maintain active contacts with customers by conducting field visits, conference calls/meetings and workshops to provide timely support and assistance in detailed root-cause analysis and identification of opportunities for improvement
• Take business ownership of the GUARD data warehouse (e.g. define data requirements, fix bugs, request for improvements)
• Drive the measurement alignment with Express and develop automated reports according to Globally agreed specifications
• Engage stakeholders in issues that will impact Service Quality and Operation Compliance KPIs and follow up till completion
• On the global level, lead the development and deployment Revenue management and Forecasting techniques: Density engine, Capacity forecasting, yield management, Allocations management prioritization, etc.
• Monitor and analyse market development, lead the market researches on revenue management techniques, and provide support to Senior Management to develop marketing and business strategies, priorities, and plans
• With support of B.I., take ownership to steer reporting as lean as possible, strive for automation/semi-automation and increase report accuracy
• Support the budget elaboration process and provide costing calculation for ad hoc charter requests
• Encourage effective cooperation between different internal teams
• Influence decisions/actions of internal stakeholders and deploy BDP’s
• Interact with internal stakeholders & GSA’s to ensure highest confidence levels

• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Technical forecasting knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of Access, Excel, VBA
• Back track of experiences with the creation and manipulation of Access databases and writing SQL queries
• Good programming skills (e.g. VBA), knowledge of Angular, Tomcat, Struts, Pentaho data integrator is a plus
• Ability to think laterally, come up with innovative solutions and challenge the ideas of others
• Ability to cope with tight deadlines
• Fluent in English and preferably another European language
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills to be able to deal with people across different functions and seniority levels
• A team player
• 5 years in Aviation industry in related area of responsibility
• University degree or equivalent
