Site Manager - Belgium - 12 Months Contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager at our client’s location in Belgium.

Responsibilities

Daily site monitoring of the construction of a brand new Production Center (disciplines of construction, HVAC, plumbing, electricity and infrastructure)
Responsible for daily follow-up on site
Be the point of contact for contractors, engineering firms, etc. on site
Project administration: preparing progress reports, managing quality control documents, work diary, etc.
Control of work carried out (construction, HVAC, plumbing, electricity, etc.) and structured reporting to the project manager
Monitoring and monitoring of safety on site
Continuously monitor breaches (both technical and security) until the breach is resolved

Required Experience

Diploma: min. bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, electromechanics or similar
Extensive experience in monitoring complex construction projects (mainly buildings and building technologies, infrastructure is a plus)
Knowledge of construction, HVAC, plumbing, electricity with a view to checking the execution in accordance with the order documents (plans, specifications, bill of quantities, etc.)
Extensive experience in document management (ACC, BIM360, Bricsys etc)
Consult plans in AutoCAD
Consult models in Revit
Not shying away from addressing people on the construction site correctly and firmly in the event of violations
Proactive attitude in the context of early detection of potential problems during implementation
Language skills: fluent Dutch and English is a MUST for this role
