Job Description

Quality & Food Safety Specialist

As Quality & Food Safety Specialist at Mars, you will maintain, design and improve the site quality management system to comply with the Mars Global Quality Standards.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent
  • Ideally, experience in a food manufacturing environment working in quality, food safety, engineering and/or product/process development
  • Dutch Language proficiency (oral and written)

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Assisting to develop and implement technical and procedural control measures in relation to the Mars Global Quality Standards
  • Assuring non-conforming product inventory management through monitoring of SAP transactions  
  • Developing and updating all paperwork/systems to be complaint to global standards
  • Assisting the quality and food safety team during new product launches and significant process and recipe changes whilst performing conformance checks
  • Execution of improvement projects, and factory support in case of deviations
