Position DescriptionThe Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program is an international fast-track career program with the aim of developing future experts in the field of engineering, IT, data science etc. If you are up for the challenge of driving innovation, gaining first-hand experience, and developing our future operations within a global organization, this is the graduate program for you! In addition, you will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. We furthermore offer the opportunity for you to be part of our digital transformation, applying new technologies to connect and automate our processes. Together we work with AI, data science, machine learning, circular systems, virtual manufacturing and more, to build our fully electric or autonomous products.If rotational development, a global set up and designing the world of tomorrow are aspects you are looking for in your next job context, this position might be something for you.
Required Knowledge/experience- Bachelor/ Master in IT or in Engineering with an interest in IT.
- Maximum two years of previous working experience (prior to or after graduation).
- Analytical mindset, able to read data and translate it into tangible advice & insights.
- Strong communication skills. You feel comfortable in working with a diverse cross-functional team, being credible and always act with integrity, as well as showing consistency.
- Storyteller, someone who can make new technologies understandable and accessible to all.
- Capable of switching between a holistic view and providing in-depth insights.
- As this is a truly global program, you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English. Also, a very good knowledge of Dutch is required.
Job Description: To reach to the next level within logistics, we want to get a better grip on all the information we have in our systems. This massive amount of data within the Volvo Group is waiting to be mined. You, as logistic data analyst, will focus on the available internal & external logistic information. Your main task consists out of transforming and structuring the data in visually attractive interfaces that facilitate correct interpretation by your colleagues. Based on their needs and input you can provide a more in-depth analysis of the data or the other way around, look at the bigger picture and give insights in possible correlations.
