About Forensics

Our Forensic Technology Solutions team helps clients manage vast amounts of electronic data and navigate the legal and business processes that are mandated by critical events.

Across Forensic Services we develop and utilise cutting-edge technology to help our clients in times of crisis or to understand past challenges and proactively prevent future ones. When disputes or regulatory investigations arise, a timely resolution relies on organisations being prepared. This is what we help our clients with every day.

What you’ll learn and do

Join us and you’ll get to work alongside leading professionals in fields such as Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, Legal Technology and Data Analytics.

• Receive training in a wide range of technical and non-technical skills.

• Gain exposure to a wide variety of forensic and analytical techniques.

• Looking for hidden patterns within the global payments of a bank accused of money laundering, searching for evidence of fraud and abuse within a company’s finance system or helping to identify illegal activity within millions of transactions.

• Harness artificial intelligence, expert systems, robotics and machine learning to assist our clients, you will have the opportunity to get involved in some innovative projects where we utilise these technologies to solve real life issues.

• Researching for new tools and technologies and developing new propositions to take to our clients.

What you have done

You have obtained or are pursuing a degree in a technology-related program, IT, civil or business engineering, mathematics, economics or business studies or worked as BI-consultant, BI-developer, data analyst/data scientist in a similar consulting environment for 1-2 years.

Who you are

• Specialization or an interest in technology, digital forensics, data analytics and/or data science.

• Team player with a sense of innovation, initiative and a critical, analytical mind with a good dose of business sense.

• Communicative, eager to learn and you are looking to develop and grow.

• Fluency in English; ideally also in Dutch and/or French.

• An understanding of basic accounting and financial principles are a plus.

• Already able to work with the following tools are a plus:

  • Digital forensic and eDiscovery tools such as EnCase, Axiom, Nuix (Workstation/Discover), Relativity or equivalents

  • ETL-tools such as Alteryx or equivalent

  • Predictive and scripting tools such as VBA, R, Python, SQL or other equivalent

  • Visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or equivalent

Location:This opportunity is in our Brussels office. There is flexibility to work in our other offices, but your location will depend on the client you are working with
