OpenWay is a FinTech providing Way4, a payment platform covering a wide range of services from payment processing to digital wallets. With a headquarter located in Belgium, they operate globally in 83 countries.

Your Role

Joining the Belgian team of around 40 people in Mont-Saint-Guibert, your first assignment as Junior IT Engineer will be to follow a training of 3 months to grasp a full technical understanding of OpenWay’s products and be able to operates in them. You’ll then be responsible for:

  • Analyzing client requirements
  • Setting up, testing and ensuring support in the delivery of the solutions accordingly to clients requirements
  • Develop custom components when needed (10% of the job)
  • Identify bugs and resolve them

Requirements

  • You have a first relevant experience in the tech sector and/or aced your studies in computer science
  • You have strong command of at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, Javascript, etc.)
  • You’re familiar with networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, etc.)
  • You’re fluent in English
  • You show interest in new technologies and are always up-to-date with the last trends
  • You pay attention to details
  • You have good communication skills and are not afraid to speak up and take initiatives
  • You can work both independently and in team
  • You have fun analyzing, learning and making research
