EMEA wide responsibility in supporting all Business Units, sales entities, manufacturing plants and distribution centers on compliance regarding product classification, import/export formalities, record keeping as well as adherence to corporate compliance policies and European/US applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Main responsibilities of the Junior Trade Compliance Analyst will include:
  • Support EMEA organization with Import/Export record keeping as required by Corporate Policy and European Union Customs Regulations.
  • Support process audits to ensure compliance to all Import/Export related internal procedures and applicable laws and regulations with support from the Global Trade Compliance team.
  • Support Distribution Centers, Plant Shipping & Logistics personnel as well as Sales & Customer Service teams in being compliant with Import/Export regulations.
  • Provide support on requests to draft and submit declarations and product classification requests and general correspondence.
  • Assist Trade Compliance Specialist in the development and implementation of Product Classification, Country of Origin, Harmonized Tariff Classification
  • Support division compliance initiatives consistent with corporate and regulatory requirements and related training initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor in Administrations or Logistics or Trade Compliance or equivalent through experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Trade Compliance.
  • You are familiar with compliance policies & processes.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms is a plus.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (Dutch or any other language is a plus)
  • You are literate with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP system (e.g. Oracle) and Compliance software (e.g. E2 Open) is a plus.
  • You know how to set priorities and act upon them.
  • You are accurate, eye for detail and respect deadlines.
  • You are a true team player who can take over team members’ tasks when required.
