  • Global Opportunities Learn More Here: https://www.dematic.com/en-us/about/careers/what-we-offer/Tasks and Qualifications:As part of the Process Excellence team the Business Analyst will be responsible collecting, visualizing and analyzing GPE EMEA data and creating/managing the GPE EMEA cockpit. This person will prepare datasets from multiple sources such as SAP, Excel, and proprietary tools to assist in outputting in the form of visualizations such as graphs, charts, and dashboards, to measure business performance and status. This person will help maintain the integrity of Dematic’s data, making sure the data repositories produce consistent, reusable data. They will be responsible for ensuring that the data and visualizations are managed and updated to ensure an accurate cockpit is in place for measuring the performance of GPE EMEA. Where required they may support initiatives by analyzing data and producing new results for the Continuous Improvement efforts. They will also be familiar with data analyzing techniques and use these to provide, evidence, guidance and provoke discussion. This position will interact with both technical data development and business execution leaders to ensure the metrics and information are clear and consistent. This position will execute these tasks in a technical and systematic way, using the standard formulas and methods as are common in the industry and relevant to the current data. Accountabilities (max. 8 accountabilities) Core Accountabilities
  • works with GPE team and other stakeholders to understand data sets in use
  • Takes part in the development of and manipulation of data lakes for EMEA GPE
  • Creates ETL processes and business rules for integrating application level data
  • Ensures the data catalog and dictionary is maintained during the development process
  • Assist in internal software solutions that require the sharing or centralization of data
  • Supports and helps define data quality reports for data stewardship
  • Works with GPE Leaders to define scope and requirements for new reports and data analysis
  • Participate in change management activities within the execution team as appropriate
  • Leverage data from a variety of sources (Snowflake, SAP, Excel) to analyze business performance, identify areas of opportunity and provide actionable insights
  • Design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of business process changes to improve data quality and business outcomes
  • Designs and executes visualisations for measuring business performance
  • Take ownership for ensuring the GPE EMEA and where required Global visualizations are accurate and up to date
