Enterprise Accounts Pricing Supervisor
Region Revenue Management, Brussels

Purpose of the Job

  • Manage a portfolio of customers from a pricing and revenue management perspective. The candidate will need to work on pricing tenders and also be responsible for contributing towards profitable growth of their customers by successfully working with the Account Management team to implement growth and profitability management strategies.
  • Develop and implement process and policy improvements for pricing efficiency and decisions

Main Accountabilities and Associated Activities

Pricing

  • Understand the current positioning of UPS for their customers from a marketing and sales perspective.
  • Determine what pricing strategies will lead to the most value for their customers and UPS
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand operations and cost
  • Negotiate pricing strategies with the Business Development team
  • Present pricing strategies to senior management

Revenue Management

  • Devise, plan and implement customer profitability strategies
  • Understand UPS positioning within the market
  • Identify customer profit improvement opportunities and leverage compliance to assumed shipping activity

Know-How, Skills & Experience

  • Education level:

University degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Finance/ Supply Chain; MBA is a plus

  • Experience:

Min. 3 years working experience in marketing or F&A; incl. experience at country level in revenue management

  • Skills & Characteristics:
  • Strong communicator
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Quality drive; eye for detail
  • Result oriented; make things happen
  • Business acumen
  • Multi-tasking and flexibility
  • Fluent English (speaking/writing); plus one other language would be beneficial
  • Computer literacy – very good knowledge of Excel and Access
