External Sales Manager Iberica
Job Description
As External Sales Manager Iberica (Spain/Portugal) you are responsible to reach the agreed goals together with your team of external sales advisors (6). Through people management and genuine enthusiasm, you will lead/guide your team to achieve your sales goals and to contribute to the realisation of the organisation’s turnover.
Building a close team of highly qualified and motivated employees and encouraging collaboration between team members in order to create a well-functioning team.
Defining the strategic/tactical plan and translate it into clear objectives for your region, and set realistic targets and KPI’s.
Following up results, testing these against the set targets and analysing sales results at customer, brand and type level, helps you to guide your internal and external sales people and bringing them to even stronger performances.
Following up the operational processes within your division in order to ensure conformity with processes in other divisions.
Maintaining contact with your most important customers and prospects in order to build strong, long term relationships.
Mapping the competitor’s market evolution, actions and market position.
Ensuring correct staffing levels (recruitment, replacement, ETC).
Profile
Ideally master degree educated or equivalent through experience.
You have a significant level of business achievement within B2B sales in a similar market place (spare parts, industrial vehicles).
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical communication skills in Spanish and English.
You have excellent people management skills.
An ability to work autonomously, develop a strategy for success and prioritise daily and weekly activities.
A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s
