The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an IT Security Supervisor for EMEA (m/f/*),you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Provide security specialist advise on recommended approaches across teams and various stakeholders

• Evaluate key security related technologies and assess the risk associated with proposed changes

• Consult business transformation and information technology leaderships as security consultant and deliver client services on a cross-section of IT projects

• Assist in design of security solutions by aligning to cybersecurity framework such as NIST and Cloud Security Alliance’s Cloud Control Matrix

• Work with corporate information security team members to enhance EMEA security capabilities for mitigating cyber risk and threats

• Work with multiple regional and corporate technical team members at all levels and across functional lines to ensure security

• Collaborate with corporate incident response team and automate security solutions, whenever possible

• Provide leadership in driving developers and project teams toward alignment to corporate IT standards

• Interface with internal and external auditors for security assessments

• Working with Enterprise CISO and local IT management to develop and implement security remediation efforts

• Evangelize and promote cybersecurity awareness by proactively hosting security knowledge sharing events

• Travel as required to collaborate with Enterprise CISO and Information Security team members

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution

• Profound IT and/or IT Security experience

• One (1) or more IT Security certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA etc.

• Self-motivated with an ability to learn quickly, plan and prioritize and good time management

• Good interpersonal, communication skills. Ability to engage senior business and technology audiences

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, KAS-51 etc.

• Familiarity with requirements of cybersecurity frameworks and/or standards such as NIST, CSA Cloud Control Matrix, ISO, Manufacturing Industry 4.0 etc.

Travel:May include up to 10% [domestic/international]
