Job Description

  • The GIS/GEOINT Analyst will support the FUSION DGA sector in:
  • Preparing cartographic products and strategic/operational maps
  • Automating map production using Python and Model Builder
  • Collecting, processing, and validating geospatial data
  • Integrating and analyzing data from various sources

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum EQF Level 6 (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in GIS/GEOINT
  • Language: English proficiency at CEFR B2 level

Skills And Expertise

  • Expertise in designing and producing digital maps with geographic data
  • Expertise in geo-data management
  • Experience in spatial mapping and geoprocessing tools
  • Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS platform
  • Knowledge of GEOINT exploitation processes and methodologies (FSG/AGI)
  • Expertise in ArcGIS Pro v2.8+, 3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst
  • Experience in Python v3.7.8+ and Model Builder
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Support daily GIS operations
  • Respond to map and cartographic product requests
  • Create and implement map templates
  • Validate geospatial data using workflows and tools
  • Provide GEOINT analysis using geographic tools
  • Design and implement GEOINT dashboards
  • Create geo-tools and scripts
  • Define geographic dictionaries and taxonomies
  • Customize GIS solutions for Frontex Geoportal
  • Participate in project meetings
