A dynamic company active in the chemical industry and based in the south of Antwerp is looking for a Lead Mechanical to join their team. You will report directly to the Technical Services Manager.

In this position as Lead Mechanical, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the reference person for the mechanical engineering for the projects on the production site
  • Carrying out a detailed analysis of the current situation and ensure the mechanical studies for the projects set up by the Engineering department
  • Following closely all the mechanical design parts of the projects and coordinate the stakeholders involved, both internal and external.

About you:

  • You have a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • You have good knowledge of 2D and 3D design and of calculation software piping and mechanical structures
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the chemical sector
  • You are a good communicator
  • You are fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
