Your ‘day to day’

  • Creates visibility on the as-is for in-market distribution through targeted data gathering, should-cost analysis and simulations to identify improvement opportunities. Supports network modelling and redesign projects and closely monitors volume, portfolio, cost-to-serve and channel developments to assess impact and opportunities.
  • Prepares an implementation project plan for selected initiatives and supports regions and markets in the execution.
  • Leads monthly PDCA sessions to ensure timely execution of the main initiatives in line with productivity and net cost improvement targets.
  • Knows first-hand the levers that drive optimization and is able to actively apply them across different route-to-market models including but not limited to delivery frequency, optimal order quantity, calendar synchronization, delivery time and short route reduction or LSP cost model and technology review.
  • Operates in close collaboration with functions such as Customer Service, LCT, Commercial, (Operations) Strategy and Logistics Procurement to ensure cross-functional alignment on the overall distribution strategy and business plans to optimize RTM in any given market as well as local deployment.
  • Defines, implements and achieves annual critical metrics on In-Market Distribution as per Global Supply Chain Operations targets.
  • Leads the development and deployment of skills & toolsets across the organization, to build in-house capabilities and to secure a systematic and sustainable approach to optimization of in-market distribution.

Who we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration and /or APICS type of Certifications in the subject matter area
  • 10+ years of expertise in regional / global transportation management, preferably in a multinational environment within FMCG or Consumer Electronics and/or 4PL
  • Hands-on experience in the optimization of transport operations and transport management processes
  • Consistent track record of results delivery across cost and service level important metrics
