Your ‘day to day’
  • Leads the continuous assessment of actual cost (structures) across warehousing and logistics operations and through should-cost analysis or clean-sheet approach, finds opportunities for productivity, efficiency and service level improvements.
o Defines and implements relevant critical metrics to monitor current cost structure and target setting for every market
  • Besides detailed cost breakdowns, also analysis existing contracts in terms of cost model (fixed, variable) and any other conditions that can be improved or added to generate value.
o Defines and implements global targets to standardize cost models and standard methodology sharing across our WH network
  • Is the business counterpart for Global Logistics Procurement in the development and deployment of the global sourcing strategy.
o Leads the development and governance of strategic logistics partners on global and regional level.
o Supports Regions and Markets with tactical Procurement activities and facilitates global strategy deployment.
  • Is the linking pin between Supply Chain and other functions (e.g., Commercial, Quality, Security and Sustainability) to formalize requirements for global transportation and warehousing?
o Leads monthly PDCA sessions with the regions to ensure that identified productivity initiatives progress as per the targets set.

Who we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor / Masters in Procurement or Supply Chain Management degree and /or APICS type of Certifications in the subject matter area
  • 10-15 years of regional / global logistics Procurement expertise in a multinational environment, preferably FMCG or Consumer Electronics
  • Extended experience in the optimization of global warehousing & transportation services and supporting processes
  • Masters cost drivers and should-cost analysis for Warehousing (Storage, handling, utilities, insurance etc.) and Transportation (Fuel, security, labor, insurance, tolls etc..)
  • IT savviness on leading platforms and software solutions in global logistics management and procurement (e.g., Blue Yonder, Coupa) and ERP (SAP)
