Order Management specialist

The Order Management Specialist is taking care for the administrative support of our sales, project and service team within ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS). Using your customer service skills and knowledge, you will be responsible for processing all incoming orders: from order entry to purchase up to invoicing and following up payments & disputes.

Your responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of orders (complete process), creating sales and purchase orders, order confirmations to customers, confirmation of delivery dates and following up
• Taking care of invoicing
• Ensuring our customers pay the invoice on time by actively following up outstanding payments and taking appropriate action
• Monitoring open disputes and ensuring an adequate and quick solution, for example by drawing up a credit note
• Maintaining telephone and written contacts with customers and factories
• Creating new customers or adjustments to existing customers so that the customer master data is always correct
• Adjusting and processing requests for orders where necessary
• Preparing delivery notes according to the request of the warehouse
• Attending follow up meetings with project managers and controlling and follow up action items

Your background

• Passionate about technology, you love working in an innovative environment
• A higher degree (Bachelor and/or Master) in electrical engineering or electromechanics, ... or equivalent through experience
• First work experience in a relevant technical environment
• Good command of the Dutch, French and English languages, both verbally and in writing
• Results-oriented with a good commercial flair
• Enthusiastic, stress resistant, accurate and a real team player
• Willing to travel occasionally within Europe.
• Extremely customer-friendly, service-minded and a good team player
• Strong administrative background with a problem-solving mindset
• Experience in the business-to-business market
• Computer literate, you familiarize yourself quickly with various applications
• Experience with SAP SD and CS module is a plus
• Enthusiastic, organized and accurate
• Good communication skills is Dutch, French and English in word and writing
