Our client is a fully integrated global radiopharmaceutical company headquartered in Shanghai with operations in China and Europe. They seek to own the entire value chain for radio-ligand production, research, development & commercialization in order to deliver clinical impact for patients. Their core platform seeks to attack the two core issues that exist in radiopharmaceuticals today: 1) the ability to produce in high quality and quantity enough radioisotope to meeting tomorrow’s needs and 2) innovative translational & biology research platform targeting the radio-pharma treatments of tomorrow.

Role
  • You perform simulation for electron-gamma conversion with the purpose of designing a convertor for radioisotope production – you will have to consider the system cooling
  • You support the design improvement of critical components through simulation – the critical components we are considering are: electron-gamma convertor, target station; target geometry and cooling
  • You validate your theoretical work by setting up and conducting experiments – when you’ve done calculation, you organize testing for validation before scaling up
  • You are the link with key research institution – you can access facilities to perform the above validation
  • You work closely with the project engineer to support their design work – you advise engineers for optimizing the design of the above critical components.

Profile
  • PhD in Physics or Master degree in Physics or Physics engineer
  • Demonstrated experience in modelling (EGS, MCNP, Geant4, FLUKA, …)
  • Extended knowledge of particle interaction simulation code
  • Ability to conduct complexe project
  • You are passionate in nuclear and particle physics.
  • You are passionate by modelisation of physical processes.
  • You feel satisfied when you bring a solution to complex problems.
  • You can be self-motivated. You want to work in a dynamic/ fast growing team with global standard.
  • You deliver. You can translate your theoretical results into practical solutions
