The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Lab Technician(m/f/*)at the 3M Zwijndrecht production site, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Performing specific lab testing on samples from the on-site wastewater treatment (WWT), focused techniques are LC-MSMS and CIC. In the future, extension with GC-MS to investigate air emissions could be a possibility. You report results and communicate them directly to the WWT-team.
• Critically evaluating test results, preventing quality related problems.
• Performing standard maintenance and troubleshooting on lab equipment.
• Assisting with the development of new and improved testing procedures and techniques.
• Being part of problem-solving teams.
• You work in a fulltime day regime, from Monday to Friday.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent by experience.
• A good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• You are a team player but you can also work independently.
• Basic knowledge of LC-MSMS and/or CIC. Advanced experience with any of these techniques is a plus.
