Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop tools for the automatic validation, deployment and configuration of our satellite communication products
• Validate new product features and the integration of the different components to ensure a delivery ready product.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues where possible when reporting them in our systems
• Help resolve technical and on-going use case challenges
• Assist our technical writers in the creation of comprehensive product documentation
• Proactively engage with our engineering teams to exchange on specific product requirements and to facilitate smooth integration of the components
• Troubleshoot the integrated products where possible
• Aspire towards a thorough understanding of satellite communication technologies and components

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Telecommunication, Aerospace...)
• Have working experience with Linux and scripting languages (bash, ruby, python, perl, ...)
• Potentially have a first experience in test automation
• Can demonstrate your knowledge of networking (in a Linux context)
• Are conversational in English
• Love to communicate with a broad range of technical experts and to share information
• Are inquisitive and like to learn daily
• Have a profound interest in satellite communication and new technologies

Once on board you will:

• Be part of our Quality and Release Engineering team based in our European headquarters in Sint-Niklaas (Belgium)
• Travel occasionally and work in close collaboration with team members based around the world, including Romania, USA, and Germany
• Work on various satellite communication applications and devices ranging from consumer satellite modems to high-end modulators and demodulators
• Be involved in a wide range of technological domains, from software over network and system engineering to electronics
